Warm Weather Protection: Includes Insulated Cool Shield Packaging + Ice Packs

Chocolate is sensitive to heat and can soften or melt in warm temperatures above 74ºF, especially in transit or if packages are left outdoors after delivery.

From June through August, we automatically choose the best shipping method for your location — including USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, or UPS 2-Day Air — with the goal of keeping transit time under 72 hours whenever possible. 

Each Warm Weather Protection pack includes insulated packaging and an ice pack designed to help protect your treats during transit. Customers also have the option to add extra ice packs to their order for additional protection during especially hot weather.

If your order arrives severely melted and completely inedible after purchasing Warm Weather Protection, please reach out to us and we’ll make it right by resending your order.

As a small family-owned business, we truly appreciate your understanding that some softening may still occur during extreme summer temperatures. Whenever possible, we recommend bringing packages indoors shortly after delivery and putting your treats in the fridge or freezer after they arrive.
