In our first installment in our new Baking With Trupo Treats series we got together with Healthy Vegan Junkie to make some vegan chocolate doughnuts and vegan mint chocolate truffles.
This week we're back with the perfect recipe to start June and your summer off on a sweet note.
We hope you brought your appetite and a spoon because it’s time to dig into a tasty chocolate-topped green smoothie bowl created by Instagram food blogger Cacao for Coconuts!
Meet Cacao For Coconuts
Cacao For Coconuts (Danielle Bear)
As a vegan of four years and a food blogger, Danielle Bear launched Cacao for Coconuts in April 2020. Cacao for Coconuts is more than a passion project, though. It’s an extension of Danielle herself.
Danielle describes herself as a foodie on a mission. Her goal? “To nourish my body through delicious and beautiful food and help others do the same."
Along with cooking and baking with plant-based ingredients, Cacao for Coconuts is also about self-betterment, mindful thinking, joyful movement, and encouraging healthy habits.
“I am always learning and finding ways to live my best life and feel the best I possibly can.”
One of Danielle’s favorite ways to enjoy Trupo Treats is on her stunning smoothie creations, “The bowl is my canvas,” says Danielle, “[and] I am a huge chocolate fan!”
Danielle adds, “I love the style of Trupo [Treats] chocolate.” She says our vegan milk chocolate reminds her of the crunch bars she enjoyed before her vegan days.
Danielle continues, “I am a firm believer in chocolate for breakfast! I love how Trupo treats are light and crunchy [and] they don’t get too hard on a cold smoothie bowl. ”
With that inspiration in mind, Danielle blended up this Trupo Treats-topped green smoothie bowl!
